And for Ukrainian teens displaced by war, everything familiar may feel painfully far away. But through Young Life, these young people are discovering something life-changing: a place where they are known, welcomed and loved.
Your generosity through Bayside’s NXT Initiative, ministry partners Al and Stacy Anderson are bringing the hope of Jesus to teenagers throughout the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania and North Macedonia, through camps, clubs,Bible studies and one-on-one mentoring.
Young Life leaders build authentic relationships with middle and high school students. They show up, listen to their stories, and create welcoming environments where teenagers can have fun, ask honest questions and discover what it means to follow Jesus.
Displaced By War
Young Life has also expanded its ministry to Ukrainian teenagers displaced by war. Far from home and carrying experiences no young person should have to face, these teens are finding friendship, emotional support, and the message of Christ, shared in their own language. For many, it is more than a weekly program. It is a community that reminds them they are not alone.
Summer Camps
Bayside sends teams to serve at summer camps throughout the region, helping create unforgettable experiences where students laugh, build friendships and hear about Jesus in a way they can understand.
But the impact continues long after camp ends.
